Odd, isn’t it, that our government has shown so much concern for a woman with dual Turkish-American citizenship who put herself in danger by joining in and leading protests against Israel while in a combat zone and was ultimately killed — yet it shows such little interest in the many Americans kidnapped last Oct. 7, who remain prisoners of Hamas (“Israel says its forces likely unintentionally shot and killed an American activist in the West Bank,” Web, Sept. 10).
